Russell Howard: Adventures

Precociously bursting onto the comedy scene by reaching the final of
national talent search So You Think You’re Funny? after a mere five
gigs, loveable ball of energy Russell Howard hasn’t slowed down
since.
Rather, he’s been busy cementing his place as one of the hottest
properties in stand-up. Taking over hosting duties on BBC6Music’s Sunday
morning show from a certain Russell Brand has seen Russell’s
boisterous, banter-filled comedy cheerfully relieve the hangover of
every music-lover in the UK. Instantly popular, Russell has racked up
endless appearances on BBC2’s Never Mind The Buzzcocks and
Mock The Week, BBC1’s primetime stand-up showcase Live At The
Apollo and televised coverage of The Brits and The British Comedy
Awards.
But if you really want to see Russell’s charming, infectious
ramblings in full flow, you have to catch him live. So many people have
cottoned on to this that he has sold out every Edinburgh Festival show
since 2004- in fact, by 2007 his entire run had sold out before the
festival even started.
Now Russell Howard brings his Adventures back to Glasgow exclusively
for the Magners Glasgow International Comedy Festival, following his
kill-for-a-ticket appearances at The Stand Comedy Club last November.
